Summary
"Fear Street: Missing" by R.L. Stine is a gripping young adult thriller that follows
the mysterious disappearance of a teenage girl named Lizzy Palmer in the town of
Shadyside. As her friends and family struggle to uncover the truth behind her
vanishing, dark secrets begin to surface about Lizzy's life and the people around
her. The novel weaves a tale of suspense, suspicion, and danger, exploring the eerie
and chilling atmosphere of Fear Street where nothing is as it seems. As the search
intensifies, the residents of Shadyside must confront their deepest fears and
confront the sinister forces at play in their seemingly ordinary town.

Favorite Character
Lizzy Palmer is a 16-year-old girl and my favorite character from the story.
Throughout the book, Lizzy is described adventurous who often suggests exploring
abandoned buildings or sneaking out at night to have fun with her friends. For
example, in Chapter 5, Lizzy convinces her friends to explore an old, supposedly
haunted house on Fear Street, showcasing her adventurous spirit. Lizzy is also
demonstrating strong loyalty to her best friend, Emily, and other close friends in
the book. She stands up for them and supports them through difficult times. In
Chapter 10, when Emily is falsely accused of something, Lizzy defends her
fiercely and helps gather evidence to clear her name, highlighting her loyalty and
protective nature.

Thing that I don’t like
One of the negative aspects explored in "Fear Street: Missing" is the theme of
betrayal among friends. In the story, there is a significant moment of betrayal when
Lizzy's closest friend, Emily, discovers that Lizzy had been keeping secrets from
her. This revelation shakes Emily deeply and strains their friendship. In Chapter
18, Emily confronts Lizzy about the secrets she's been hiding, feeling hurt and
betrayed by the lack of honesty between them. This betrayal adds a layer of tension
and conflict to the narrative, illustrating the consequences of withholding truths
and the impact it can have on relationships. The portrayal of betrayal in the story
serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of trust and communication among
