CAPITAL PUNISHMENT
Capital punishment is the most extreme biologically driven policy

According to Amnesty International (2016)- 1032 people were executed
worldwide.

The UK abolished the death penalty temporarily in 1965 and since the murder
rate stayed the same, there was a permanent abolition in 1969.

EVALUATION:
STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES

if people are born criminal, in the USA, murder rate is lower
there’s no possibility of in the states without the death
rehabilitation so this may be the penalty
only options
it fails as a deterrent as most
cheaper than keeping someone in people kill in the heat of the
prison moment, so its not a rational
choice
no chance of reoffending
since 1973, more than 184
prisoners sent to death row have
been related from it on grounds
of innocence

due to systemic racism, it would
end up in many more innocent
lives being lost at the hands of
the police and judicial system
