Klinische kenmerken
 Kleur varieert v rood tot geelgroen afh v versterken tijd na trauma
 Hemorragische afwijkingen zonder voorafgaand trauma  denk aan onderliggende
systemische aandoening
Bv coagulatiepathieën met gestoorde functie v bloedplaatjes

, Verkleuring v mondslijmvlies
Bloeduitstorting v bloedslijmvlies in mondbodem

Vooral te maken met systemische aandoening met
probleem v bloedstolling
Geen biopt
Verheven
Op plaatsen waar bloeding kan te pas komen
Bloedstolling krijgen
Trauma na extractie

 Ijzer  orgaan
- Cyrose: lever, diabetes, hartfalen
o Niet onschuldig

Primaire (hereditaire) hemochromatose
 Niet gereguleerde, te grote ijzerabsorptie in darm
 Lichaam kan onvoldoende overmaat ijzer uitscheiden  orgaan schade

Secundaire hemochromatosa
 Ijzerstapeling is gevolg v andere aandoening (meestal bloed of beenmerg)
