3.3 Notes- Justify a campaign for change
Presenting a case for action:
● State why there is a need for your campaign.
● State clearly type of under-reported crime (use statistics, explain why crime is
under-reported)
● Explain reasons why the crime is underreported (1.2) and what the
consequences of this under reporting are (1.3)
● Use relevant statistics to show the extent of crime (1.6), may use examples or
case studies to show impact.
Using evidence to support your case:
You need to justify following aspects-
● Why you chose your campaign name or tagline or slogan
● Your methods, and why they would be appropriate and effective to achieve
your aims
● Your target audience; who are they and why would they respond to your
campaign
● Your designs, images, text, layout; what they are and why effective
● Finance; why financially viable
● Why timescale is realistic
● Any other points you want to make about your campaign, such as interesting
ideas you took from successful campaigns you researched.
Your use of persuasive language:
● Justify your use of persuasive language in 3.2, identify examples of materials
in which you have used this language.
● Explain why you feel these examples are likely to be effective in helping
achieve campaign aims.
