Investigative Report on Assisting Gauteng College Parents and Students to Raise
Funds for Tuition Fees
1. TERMS OF REFERENCE
I was commissioned to conduct this investigation on 15 September 2024 by Mr
Selby, the Finance Manager of Gauteng College. My name is Annah Mudau and I
am an Administrator in the office of Mr Selby. The essence of the report is to
explore ways to help parents and students raise funds to pay tuition fees at the
institution. The report is to be submitted to Mr Selby by 30 September 2024 along
with recommendations.
2. PROCEDURES
2.1 Conduct surveys with parents and students to understand their financial
situations and challenges.
2.2 Research potential scholarship and bursary opportunities for students at
Gauteng College.
2.3 Collaborate with local businesses and organizations for potential fundraising
events or sponsorships.
2.4 Explore the possibility of setting up a payment plan or financial assistance
program for struggling families.
