If a woman is trying to get pregnant and is having a difficult
time, a doctor will make sure that she knows the days she is
most likely to be fertile. This can increase your chance of
getting pregnant. The typical menstrual cycle is 28 days long,
but each woman is different. There are about 7 days during
each menstrual cycle when the egg is present in the fallopian
tube. This is called your fertile window. I will use the month of
July as an example:
If a woman begins her period on July 5, count ahead 14 days
from the 5th (also counting the 5th). That is July 18th. From the
18th, count back 3 days and count ahead 3 days. The most
fertile week is July 15th – July 21st.
You will have a question or 2 about the Ovulation Cycle on the
Test. Remember: I am looking for a WEEK for the answer. The
answer for the above example is JULY 15th-JULY 21st.
