Present perfect
Present perfect = has ( he, she or it )/have (we, they etcc) + past participle
=> Events which happend some time before or up tot he present, if not mention when they happend.

- I’ve just had lunch.
- They still haven’t repaired my bike.
- Have you ever ridden a motterbike?
Past perfect
Past perfect = had + past participle
=> events which happend some time before or up to a point in the past ( like present simple ).

- I phoned the shop, but they still hadn’t repaired mu bike.
- I’d just had lunch, so I didn’t go for a swim.
Past simple
Past simple = regular vorm + -ed )
=> completed events in the past ( which answer the question when? ).
- I visited China twice last year.
- I swam ( irregular verb ) every day last summer.

Present continuous
Present continuous = am/is/are ( not) + verb + -ing )
=> Events which are happening now
=> for temporary or changing situations: with always to express annoyance or repeated situations.
- He’s making coffee
- My brother is always borrowing my phone.
Past continuous
Past continuous = was/were (not) + verb + -ing.
=> for events happening around the time of another past event (past simple), always for
temporary/changing situations, plans that didn’t succeed or changed.
