The electrical impulse is sent through the sensory neurone (A) on the way to the spinal cord, which is a part of the CNS. The electrical impulse then crosses the gap between synapses and then travels to the relay neurone (B) which then travels through the motor neurone (C),which triggers a response from the effector. 2. Explain reasons for an against the theory that an increase in concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere causes an increase in air temperature. - Ans .Overall, data from figure 3 suggests that CO2 resulted in an increase in global temperatures and is supported by the fact that CO2 is a greenhouse gas and so traps heat (infrared radiation) inside the atmosphere. However, in some years on the data on figure 3, temperature falls while CO2 is still increasing, which contrasts from the ideology that CO2 definitely contributes to the increase in global temperature. The data also presents erratic changes through increases and decreases in air temperature while CO2 continued to consistently to increase, and so does not support the theory.
