Include the nurse’s assessment of learning needs and readiness to learn. 50 points The desire for the patient: The patient is experiencing depression, a mental disorder which makes her experience episodes of low mood and persistent loss of interest in activities. So she would wish to recover from this state through non –surgical alternatives. History: Terry Ann is a 25-year-old female who has experienced persistent episodes of depression for the past year. Judging from the history of the patient, there is evidence of troubled sleeping, loss of energy and increased fatigue, feeling of worthlessness, difficulty in thinking, and slowed speech. Being an outpatient client, the 25-year-old lady attends the clinic of geriatric psychiatry due to symptoms of depression that are persistent evident with sleepiness. The patient has undergone several evaluations on multiple counts in the general practice for about 8 months. This being a referral treatment, the patience has been diagnosed with “Severe
