The Legal System of North Korea
Undoubtedly, today's societies have complex systems of governments that require sufficient knowledge of judicial and administrative structures to understand how these governments function. Different societies have different economic systems meaning different judicial and administrative structures. For instance, societies based on capitalist ideas have their administrative structures dictated by their judicial structures. In societies that function on communism, their judicial structures are dictated by their administrative structures. Each country in the world has certain uniqueness in its legal system, which distinguishes it from other legal systems. In light of this, this assignment explores the legal system of North Korea. Divided into two parts, the first part shall explore the history and structure of the North Korean court system while the second part shall explore its effectiveness in protecting the provisions of the constitution.
