Définition

Les diverticules de la diverticulose qui deviennent enflammés.

Physiopathologie

Inflammation des diverticules avec une pression intracavitaire accrue causant
l’érosion de la paroi intestinale et éventuellement une perforation vers le péritoine soit
micro ou macroscopique. un abcès local peut aussi se former lorsque l’organisme
réussi à cloisonner la perforation causant ainsi une péritonite.

Inflammation des diverticules.
