• Knowledge of “risks” allows one to develop a plan, to:

Impact on communities:
• Clinics, hospitals and other health care facilities
—> equipment destruction
—> surgical backlogs
—> exposure to criminal activities
• Households
—> additional costs of alternative energy
—> risks to devices, reduction in battery cycle times
• Education and schools
—> some schools poorly lit .: hard to work and write tests/exams
—> online classes attendance impacted
• Transport
—> travel time .: late to school, work etc.
