Paradigma= Bril die we opzetten om naar de maatschappij te kijken. Het gemeenschappelijk
referentiekader geeft ons denken en handelen richting.
 Hangt samen met normen en waarden in de samenleving
 Nieuwe modellen ontstaan als tegenreactie op de vorige, ze gaan er volkomen in tegen.
 Andere kaders= Een verdieping/verbreding van vorige kaders.

Paradigmashift= Een verschuiving naar een nieuw paradigma
 Hoe? Door nieuwe wetenschappelijke inzichten en maatschappelijke veranderingen.
 Wat? Terminologie, visie, ondersteuning
 Voorbeeld:
 Vroeger: Defectmodel= De klemtoon op wat ze niet kunnen en die problemen aanpakken.
