Notes on Ch. 6 of "Basic Verbal Skills for Music Therapists"
These notes are based on Chapter 6 of Schwartz' "Basic Verbal Skills for Music Therapists", a text that is required for all music therapy majors at Eastern Michigan University to read in their senior year of undergraduate studies. Chapter 6 focuses on the four basic categories of verbalizations in sessions--verbal framing, verbal exchanges, verbal interactions, and verbal interventions--and the ethics of using words as treatment. I am selling these notes for $2.50. All proceeds go towards supporting me as I begin internship after completing undergraduate coursework and take the CBMT exam.
