Wanneer Cécile een loonsverhoging krijgt van 10% stjgt haar nominale inkomen met 10%
en is het nominaal indexcijfer (nic) 110 (100+10).

Wanneer de prijzen in een land met 20% stjgenn is er sprake van infate (gemiddelde
prijsstjging) en is het prijsindexcijfer (pic) 120 (100+20). Er is dus een daling van de
koopkracht en er vindt geldontwaarding plaats.

Wanneer je deze formule gebruikt wil je weten of Cécile per maand nu meer of minder kan
kopen per maand. Hiervoor vullen we de gegevens in.
