Investment Banking Questions
What is the greatest number of classes you took at once and how well did you do in them? - ANS For my A-levels, I took 4 A levels instead of the standard 3, alongside an EPQ and working as finance manager for my young enterprise group, and worked towards my Speech and Drama Diploma exam which included a written exam and a performance, which was due to take place a week after my A levels. Despite having a lot on my plate, I got 3 A*'s and an A, and achieved my Speech and Drama Diploma with honours, getting an almost perfect score in my written exam. How well can you multitask? - ANS Multitasking is something I am extremely comfortable and successful in doing; For my A-levels, I took 4 A levels instead of the standard 3, alongside an EPQ and working as finance manager for my young enterprise group and worked towards my Speech and Drama Diploma exam which included a written exam and a performance, which was due to take place a week after my A levels. Despite having a lot on my plate, I got 3 A*'s and an A, and achieved my Speech and Drama Diploma with honours, getting an almost perfect score in my written exam. I like to find links and similarities between the different tasks at hand, so I can use the same skills to complete multiple tasks. Even if the tasks are extremely different, I have excellent time management skills and know what I need to prioritise, which is how I achieved high grades all round. To make my presentation easier to digest, I prepared a PowerPoint presentation with visual cues and brief bullet points. I am experienced in public speaking through my preparation for my Speech and Drama Diploma qualification, therefore used proper voice projection techniques in my speech so it was easy and clear for a large audience to understand. My presentation received positive feedback. Walk me through your resume? - ANS I was born and brought up in Nottingham, and found my love for economics during my final year of GCSE's, where I found myself revising for my economics GCSE paper as a break from my other subjects, since it was something, I enjoyed and easily grasped. Carrying this subject on during my A levels, it was the lesson I looked forward to the most, and consistently performed well in achieving an A*. I completed numerous different work experiences throughout my school career, which made me realise my strengths in communication and interacting with different clients. For example, during my work experience with 'The Tandoor Clay Oven Limited' I took calls from customers and advising them which product would best suit their needs. Alongside this, I worked towards my Speech and Drama diploma qualification, which built my confidence and love for public
