SAMENVATTING EMBRYOLOGIE

Hoofdstuk 1: Gametogenese

 Ontwikkeling menselijk individu: mannelijke en vrouwelijke gameet versmelten -> zygote

 Germen = gameten en de voorloperstadia ervan
 enkel cellen van het germen kunnen meiose ondergaan
 ontstaan van rijpe gameten:
 Primordial Germ Cells (PGCs) of oergonocyten
 Deze PGCs differentiëren vroeg tot oögonia of spermatogonia (beide:stamcellen)
 Vorming van rijpe gameten
- Rijpe eicel/oöcyt: via oögenese
- Spermatozoïde: via spermatogenese

 rijpe gameet = haploïd (n chromosomen, bij mens n= 23)
meiose: 2 delingen:

 Chromosomenaantal halvering:
van 2n, 4C (2 kopieën, 4 chromatiden)  n, 2C (1 kopie, 2 chromatiden)
 Chromatiden verdeling over 2 dochtercellen: (vgl met mitose)
van n, 2C  n, C (1 chromatide)
uit één 2n, 2C cel  vier n,C cellen via meiose (meer correct in de ppt)




Uitwisseling tussen
homologe chromosomen
tijdens meiose 1 =
homologe recombinantie




versmelting haploïde gameten  diploïde zygote


 Soma = somatische cellen, lichaamscellen van een individu

,  kunnen geen meiose ondergaan (kiemcellen wel!! Zie hierboven)
 wel mitose: hierbij is er behoud van de diploïde chromosoominhoud in somatische cellen

Waar en wanneer ontstaan primordiale kiemcellen of PGCs?

 Op onderstaande afbeelding zie je een embryo op het einde van de 3de week
 De Primordial Germ Cells bevinden zich in de wand van de yolk sac of dooierzak
(specification)
- PGCs geslachtelijk bipotentieel tot week 7 van de foetale periode
dicht bij de aanhechting van de toekomstige navelstreng




 Aanleg van de gonaden in week 4 van de foetale periode bij de mens
 5de week: migratie van PGCs naar de ontwikkelde gonaden, ovaria of testikels (migration +
proliferation; prolifereren = in aantal toenemen)




 Start gametogenese:
 Start van oögenese in 3de maand van foetale periode bij vrouw
 pas in de puberteit: folliculogenese en ovulatie (dus eerst even ‘on hold’
gehouden)
 Pas spermatogenese en ejaculatie in de puberteit bij de man
