dentists. In this part of the lecture, I have aimed to cover the definition, uses,
adverse effects, pregnancy category, metabolism, excretion, plasma half life,
dosage forms, and recommended doses for Aspirin along with accompanying
images for greater clarity. My goal is to facilitate easy prescription for
practioners as well as to support medical and dental students, recognizing that
Pharmacology can be challenging for some. In conclusion, after studying this
lecture, understanding and prescribing analgesics will no longer pose a
challenge; instead, it will become an enjoyable and engaging experience.
*This lecture, presented in Nine parts, is a summary of the book “Essentials
of Pharmacology for Dentistry, Third Edition, And I have also utilized other
references which I will mention at the end of the lecture.
