Dear Mr/Miss,
I am writing to you regarding the recruitment processes which are ethical and comply with
the current employment law in the United Kingdom. There are many issues you must
consider as a business in relation to the recruitment processes. Ethical issues are those which
involve making decisions that align with that sense of right and wrong, as well as with the
law, however they are not mandatory.
It is important that employers are aware of equal opportunities regardless of their job role in
any company. Most employers have a very clear equal opportunities policy to help them
comply with the legislation, and also to ensure that they make changes to help prospective

Ethical considerations are slightly different to legal ones in that they include elements that are
not required by law but, when implemented, they ensure the process is fair, even if legal
action could not be taken. Thorpe Park should be honest when they are advertising jobs, and
maintain confidentiality throughout the process. Also, Thorpe Park needs to ensure the same
questions are asked at interviews to all candidates, and I can confirm that they ask the same
questions to all candidates or use the same criteria for all of them.
Example of this:
