Aston Martin domestically has opened a new warehouse: “11 August, 2015, Gaydon: Aston
Martin is today announcing the opening of a new warehouse and logistics hub. Created to
support the future expansion of the business, the new facility is located at Wellesbourne,
close to the company’s headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire.” and they have also invested
in the Gaydon Factory “The investment in our Gaydon HQ forms part of our long term
strategy which is focused around being the number one British luxury sports car brand.”
Organic growth is the process of business expansion by increased output, customer base
expansion, or new product development. Aston Martin opened a new warehouse and logistic
hub and invested a great quantity of money into their Gaydon Factory to support the
expansion and of the business.
As of internationally they´ve confirmed that the coming years will see Aston Martin
implementing the biggest investment programme in the 101 year history of the brand, with a
plan to inject over £500 million into the company’s next generation of high performance
sports cars and the opening of new dealerships over the Middle East and Asia. This
investment started back in 2014 and was finished lately in 2015. As of opening the
dealerships over the Middle East and Asia it started back in 2015. These two countries are
fast growing economies which mean that they have an increase in the capacity of their
economy to produce goods and services, compared from one period of time to another, which
means that they are able to increase their productivity by discovering new resources,
increasing the labour force or creating superior technology or other capital goods. Therefore,
Aston Martin has seen this as a great opportunity to expand the business internationally and
they have opened new dealerships over there to expand its sales and service operations to
cover more of the world’s key luxury markets.
