MODULE 2: Understanding the Moral Agent Pre Ta

1. Based on the video, what makes man a moral agent and decide on the indicators of culture (sports, religion, arts, traditions, governance/politics, etc). Moral Agent, as we all know, is defined as any person or collective entity with the capacity to exercise moral agency which is expected to meet the demands of morality. Based on the two videos, the Man showed his capability to help unconsciously, for it is what he thinks is the right thing to do, without expecting nothing in return. Unknowingly, his little steps made something possible to another person one at a time, just like the child whom he offered financial help and got the chance to go to school. The other one was that little kid who was once helped by a stranger. In the latter time, he managed to give back more than what he has received before. With this, I believe that this has been the moral nature of Man— to be the bridge towards further moral success and to be the channel for change in terms of social structures and culture. His actions might not be as significant as the others', but at least he made an impact on another person which he was held responsible. 2. Explain how these indicators have changed your life to become a better individual. These indicators have taught me to look at life from a different perspective—at a view of being a Moral Agent. A Moral Agent that has a responsibility not only to adopt and wield social and cultural moral practices but also to revise and transform them. This situation has taught me that it doesn't matter how big, or small your help was, what signifies is the impact you contribute to society. Each and one of us have our purpose in life which we have to accomplish, and dreams that will come true if you strive harder for
