Iceland Foods Ltd is a British supermarket, that began the business in 1969.
They are more centred on the sale of frozen foods. They also sell non-frozen
grocery items such as produce meat, dairy and dry goods. As a business, such as
Iceland is essential to have excellent customer service because the way they
respond to a situation will affect the business. In general, if they can provide an
excellent customer service it will promise repeated customers which is a benefit
for the business because the business will be able to increase sales and make
profit.




A good customer service needs to know in general what they are doing and
what is their role so that they will be able to perform it well. In order to be
a good customer service, Iceland as to exceed the expectancy of the customer.
A customer service should have good manners and be polite so that
the customers will feel valuable. Making customers feel important is a big part
of providing excellent customer service experience. In addition, they need to
have good communication skills so that customers will be able to understand the
information clearly. Apart from that it is fundamental that the customer service
has an interest in helping people because is more probable that the complaints
can be handle patiently specially when it comes to angry customers or
customers with special needs. An excellent customer service in Iceland is a
assistant that offers help and provides service after or before buying/using a
product. Moreover, the service provided has to be done by treating their
customers with a positive and friendly attitude and by trying to resolve the
customer’s problem or answer their questions efficiently as possible. Apart from
that, Iceland customer service needs to be able to listen to customers as they
explain their situation or problem, even if the customer is highly agitated at the
time. And being able to apologize for any problems that the customer is having
is essential. Another situation that customer service should avoid is taking
things personally because it can lead to poor service. Good customer service has
the potential to change the consumers point of view that are related to the
products or services that they offer.
The customer service has to ensure that customers are purchasing the correct
item or service before ending the call or contact with them to confirm the
