Synonyms --Demonstrate the ability to recognize a synonym for word used in the context Multiple meaning words --Demonstrate the ability to determine the meaning of a given word with multiple meanings Context clues --To demonstrate the ability to use context clues to assign meaning to an unknown word Innocent eye --The story is told through the eyes of a child (different from an adult perspective) Stream of consciousness --The story is told through inner thoughts of a character First person --The story is told by the protagonist or one of the characters who interacts closely with the protagonist or the other characters (using pronouns "I "me" "we") Omniscient --The author narrates the story by moving from character to character, event to event, having free access to the thoughts, feelings and motivations of the characters and introducing information where and when he or she chooses.
