, HRM2605: Assessment 04 Semester 02 (2023)
This assignment consists of 8 pages.
INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) All written assignments must be submitted online (via myUnisa) in portable
document format (PDF).
(2) You are expected to meet the following requirements in terms of layout and
technical presentation:
The cover page or first page of your document should contain information such
as the module code, the assignment number, the semester and year of
registration, your name and your student number.
Always include a table of contents by listing the headings and subheadings in
your assignment.
Start with an introduction, which gives the reader an indication of what to expect
in the rest of the document.
The introduction is followed by a discussion. This is also called the body of the
assessment. This is where you answer the questions asked. You are required
to answer all the questions and use headings and subheadings that are properly
numbered to structure your answers.
You should type your answers (1½ spacing, Arial font size 12) and then convert
your document to PDF. Kindly note that no written and/or scanned answer files
will be accepted. Your assignment must be typed.
Finally, end the assessment with a conclusion, which is a brief summary of the
most important aspects addressed in the assessment. If possible, give your own
opinion, based on theoretical principles, because this will add to the value of
your answer. Do not introduce any new information in the conclusion. Again,
there should be only one conclusion at the end of your assessment and not one
per question.
Cite all the sources you have consulted in the text and provide full details in a
list of references at the end of your assessment. Use the Harvard referencing
method. Detailed referencing guidelines are provided under Referencing and
Plagiarism, in the CEMS Harvard Referencing Style: Introduction to
Referencing and Plagiarism LibGuide.
IMPORTANT: Ensure that your assignment, which comprises the cover page,
declaration of honesty, table of contents and reference list, is confined to a
maximum of 12 pages. A page limit of 12 pages is thus set for this assessment.
(4) Upload your assignment as a single document in PDF on the myUnisa module
site. For more information on how to submit a written assignment, refer to the
myModules User Guide: How to submit an assignment in myModules.
(5) Re-read the Assessment Information Letter to Assignment 04 before attempting the
assignment.
