1. Using current and relevant literature, propose an argument for the combination
of nutrition and physical activity for public health initiatives. Critically examine
and offer solutions for potential challenges.
2. Taxation has been proposed as an effective fiscal measure of reducing intake
of sugar-sweetened beverages. Critically evaluate this statement providing
evidence to support your answer.
3. Critically evaluate the effectiveness of empowerment approach to public health
promotion.
4. Provide an in-depth examination of public health surveillance and highlight the
challenges and potential solutions using current and relevant literature to
support your answer.
5. Provide a critical discussion on why food insecurity is a growing problem in the
UK and the factors that might impact on food security in coming years.
