I’ve decided to do this presentation on Dorothea Orem’s Self Care Deficit Nursing Theory. I like this theory because
its able to be applied to many different situations within the health care setting as well as different disease processes
within our patients. This theory can be applied to a patient with diabetes and has shown to provide improved
healthcare outcomes and improved patient care.
