Install active directory domain services to the server

Activity I went to server manager. I then went to
roles summary and clicked on add roles. I
then clicked on next on the add roles
wizard page. I ticked the box active
directory domain services and then clicked
next.

Then I clicked next on the active directory
domain services page and clicked next
again on the following page confirm
installation sections page, I then clicked
install. Then the installation results page
came up and said the installation was
successful, I then clicked on close.

Testing To see if it worked I went and checked on
the roles in the roles summary to see if it
had installed and functioning, which it was.



Install new domain in active directory domain services

Activity I ticked on use advanced mode installation.
I then clicked on create a new domain in a
new forest and clicked next. I then named
the RQDN of the forest root domain Unit 5
and clicked next.

I then choose windows server 2008. I left
the DNS server ticked and the Global
