The question will involve two sources and one enquiry
Success Criteria:
1. Interrogate evidence of both sources with confidence and
discrimination, make range of inferences and show range of ways the
material can be used by distinguishing between fact claim and opinion
2. Use knowledge of historical context to discuss the limitations of what
can be gained from the content of the source material, display secure
understanding of need to interpret source material in context of the
values and concerns of the society from which it is drawn
3. Evaluate source material using valid criteria which are justified and fully
applied, taking into account the weight the evidence will bear as part of
coming to a judgement and distinguishing between the degree of
certainty with which aspects of it can be used as the basis for claims

something intentionally to modify meaning or distort the message of the
source then talk about it BUT comments on all the things the source might
have contained is unlikely to lend weight to argument
Use quotations MEANINGFULLY - select quotes should be used in making
intelligent inferences from the source but essay should not be decorated with
unexplained quotes
