Before the test begins…
Student must sit at a desk, counter or table for the test. No beds or floors.
Computer must be placed on a stable, stationary surface (not placed in a lap).
Your testing session will be recorded by Honorlock via your webcam and computer microphone.
A large mirror must be placed behind the student to reflect the student lap area, the testing computer
and the workspace. The mirror must be visible by the webcam to be valid. As an alternative, a hand held
mirror may be used to scan the reflection of the student lap area, testing computer and workspace
during the room scan and also once during the test.
Students are required to complete a 360 degree scan of the testing area showing the student’s lap area
(no books, papers, covers), a cleared off workspace and a clean computer screen perimeter.
Once the test begins…
,The student’s entire face and both shoulders must be visible at all times.
Students must share screen throughout entire test with no interruptions.
No phones, earbuds, smart watches, tablets or other electronic devices are allowed.
No text books, eBooks or class notes are allowed.
No hats or sunglasses are
allowed. No bathroom breaks are
allowed.
No other people are allowed in the room during the test.
Writing down information or taking screen shots is not allowed.
Do not look off to the side, down to the keyboard or at the desk surface for an extended period of time
(longer than 1/2 second). If you are a "thinker", you can look up or close your eyes.
All of your actions can be SEEN and HEARD by your instructor on the recorded video of the exam.
Any use of supplemental material will be considered an attempt at Academic Misconduct.
Violating any of these rules could result in an Academic Misconduct reporting and a test grade of
