Structurele eiwitten
= vezelvormige eiwitten
Buiten de cel:
- Collageen en elastine: EXM eiwitten. Vorming van vezels in pezen en ligamenten
- Keratine: vezels ter versterking van epitheliale cellen  haar, nagels, hoornen

Genereren van beweging in cellen en weefsels

- Kinesine: interacties met microtubuli voor beweging van
