, Die begrip van gehalte
 Gehalte word beskou as die bereiking van ‘n standaard vir ‘n produk of diens wat aan die
klante se verwagtinge voldoen of dit oortref.
 Die verskil tussen die verwagte gehalte (deur die bestuur van die ON) en die waargenome
gehalte (deur klant) staan as gehaltegaping bekend.
 Gehalteprestasie is nodig in alle besigheidsfunksies- ongeag of ‘n besigheid groot,
middelgroot of klein is om gehalteprodukte en dienste te verseker wat aan die bogenoemde
kriteria sal voldoen.
 ‘n Kultuur van gehalte en deurlopende gehalteverbetering is nodig om aan standaarde te
voldoen.
 Dit staan as Totale Gehaltebeheer (TGB) bekend.

Definisie van gehalte / kwaliteit
 Gehalte/Kwaliteit verwys na 'n prodek / diens se vermoë om 'n spesifieke behoefte te
bevredig.
 Die doeltreffendheid van dienste en die vermoë om 'n effektiewe uitkoms te lewer sonder te
veel vertragings.
 Dit word gemeet aan spesifieke kriteria soos fisiese voorkoms / betroubaarheid /
duursaamheid / volhoubaarheid / na-verkope.

Definisie van gehaltebeheer / kwaliteitsbeheer
 'n Stelsel wat die verlangde gehalte verseker, nagekom word deur die finale produk te
inspekteer om te verseker dat dit aan die vereiste standaarde voldoen.
 Kontroleer grondstowwe / werknemers / masjinerie / vakmanskap / produksie om te
verseker dat hoë gehalte
 standaarde gehandhaaf word.
 Sluit in teikens / meeting van prestasie en stel regstellende maatreëls in.

Definisie van gehalte verserkering / kwaliteitsversekering
 Kontrolering uitgevoer tydens en na die produksieproses.
 Verseker dat vereiste standaarde in elke stadium van die proses nagekom is.
 Prosesse word ingestel om te verseker dat die kwaliteit van produkte / dienste / stelsels
voldoen aan voorafbepaalde standaarde met minimale defekte / vertragings /
tekortkominge.
 Verseker dat elke proses daarop gemik is om die produk die eerste keer reg te kry en om
foute te voorkom.

Definisie van gehaltebestuur / kwaliteitbestuur
 Die proses van die bestuur van alle aktiwiteite wat nodig is om te verseker, dat onderneming
lewer goedere en dienste van konstante hoë standaard.
 Verwys na tegnieke / gereedskap wat gebruik word om die kwaliteit van 'n produk te
ontwerp / te verbeter.
 Kan gebruik word vir aanspreeklikheid binne elk van die besigheidsfunksies.
 Doel om te verseker dat die gehalte van goedere / dienste konstant is. / Fokus op die
middele om konstantheid te bereik.
