Food contains nutrients. Nutrients are necessary for the functioning of the body.
Nutrients that provide energy are: Fat, Protein and Carbohydrates.
The Hypothalamus (in your brain)
> monitor many body conditions
> decides the intake
> Balance between the hunger center and satiation center.
Basic Nutrients:
- Carbohydrates
- Fat
- Proteins
- Vitamins
- Minerals
- Water
