NR 630 LEARNING AGREEMENT WEEK 1, 4 AND 7 Directions: For Week 1, fill out the learning agreement with self-identified goals to meet course outcomes and initial plans to meet those self-identified goals; review the goals and plans with mentor. In Week 4 the goals, plan to meet the goals and actual goal attained is to be identified and submitted. At Week 7 of the practicum experience, evaluate success with your mentor and obtain the mentor’s signature at the bottom of agreement. Save this form as a Word document and enter required information directly onto it. See Learning Agreement Grading Rubric for grading details The learning agreement is to be submitted Weeks 1, 4, and 7. Learning agreement consists of three sections: I. Utilize critical inquiry and judgment in organizational decision-making Utilize critical inquiry and judgment in organizational decision-making within the nursing profession • Research how critical inquiry supports safe practice. • Review examples of how nurses apply critical inquiry 5. Exemplify professional values and scholarship that support leadership and professional development Exemplify professional values and scholarship that support growth within the role of a nurse leader • Demonstrate having core values that will enhance my leadership abilities. 6. Demonstrate the elements of human caring, legal and ethical principles into the role of the nurse executive Establish the ethical principles required in order to fulfill the role of the nurse executive • Maintain automony, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice while advotaing for patients as staff, alike. • Plan, organize and oversee the fundamentals of the department 7. Advocate for health care policy to meet the needs of a diverse society in a changing health care environment Implement the necessary policies that are required in order to have a successful department • Update policies that may be out of date or ineffective in todays environment. • Identify cultural sensitive policies 8.
