I will use a semi-structured interview to collect and gather information about the perspective of a
beautician and their views on the impact of digital media for women and how they perceive
themselves as a result. This research is being conducted through the University of Worcester,
department of Sociology.
With your consent, I would like to take a moment of your time to ask you a few questions about your
experiences and opinions about this topic. The interview will last approximately 15 minutes. I will
not be asking for any personal information or for you to identify yourself to ensure your anonymity.
You can withdraw from the interview at any time and please feel free to ask any questions. If you
have no objections, I would like to voice record the interview so I can accurately record the
conversation. Once responses have been transcribed and my research is complete the recording will
be destroyed.
