Dermis -> bindweefsel

Hypodermis -> losmazig bindweefsel



5.2. Epidermis

 Vormt epidermiskammen = strekt zich uit in dermis en grenst aan huidpapillen die in de epidermis uitsteken

5 lagen:

Stratum corneum  Afgevlakte, dode keratinocyten
(hoornlaag)  Waterbestendig, maar niet waterdicht
Stratum lucidum  Glasachtige laag
(heldere laag)  Alleen in dikke huid (bv. voetzool)
Stratum granulosum  Keratinocyten vormen keratine (hoornstof)
(korrellaag)  Keratinevezels ontwikkelen zich naarmate
cellen dunner en vlakker worden
 Geleidelijk aan verdikken
plasmamembranen, de organellen vallen
uiteen en cellen sterven af
Stratum spinosum  Keratinocyten zijn onderling door
(stekellaag) desmosomen verbonden
Stratum basale  Diepste, basale laag
(basaalcellenlaag)  Hechting aan basaal membraan
 Bevat basale (stamcellen), melanocyten &
tastcellen (merkelcellen)
 Vormt epidermiskammen
Dikke huid -> 5 lagen dunne huid: 4 lagen (geen stratum lucidum)
