- Auditory hallucinations; running - Genetics

- Social withdrawal
- Underactivity Risks:
- Family history/genetics
Differentials: - Premature birth
- Drug induced psychosis - Neuromuscular development
- Mania - Social isolation
- PTSD
- Personality disorder Diagnosis:
- FBC and LFTs; macrocytosis
suggests alcohol abuse
- Serological tests for syphilis
- Urine test for drug use
- CT brain scan to rule out lesions
Treatment:
- First line antipsychotics;
risperidone/olanzapine, haloperidol
(older psychotic) also used
