Summary Hispanic

The most important details in this text are that Hispanic activists in the past fought for different inequalities that existed in the past, but their goals are the same as today's activists because their interests are to fight racial and gender abuses and inequalities. They planned to show their demand for change in numbers and peacefully march, but the police of that time were against it. Today, powerful businesses still take advantage of Hispanic / Latinx farm workers & employees by paying them extremely low wages. The mainstream media has a lot to do with the anger and unrest in our country, as they take advantage of ignorance and post shocking/angering headlines. Direct action, nonviolent resistance, and civil disobedience are necessary for advancing positive civil rights change today.
