RE: Research proposal: A Qualitative interpretive study on what motivates
volunteering at animal shelters in Gauteng, and the challenges faced.
I am currently associated with the University of South Africa, where I am a
Psychology Honours student. I have compiled the Research Proposal, attached
hereto, due to my passion for volunteering, because of the numerous benefits
volunteering offers.
The reason for my approaching you, is to submit this proposal for assessment by a
peer group. The proposed project is needed for completion of my course in
Research Methodology. Therefore, it seems proper to submit this proposal for
assessment by my peers, to establish whether my research problem and my
proposed methods are suitable, as well as, to assess my ability to write a proposal
with success, for a scientific study.
There will only be a small cost to this study, regarding travel expenses and
stationery, the researcher will personally carry these costs.
