What do most teenagers have at their hands today? Technology. Technology can be harmful and
erode teenagers' minds because it can affect their academics, technology can also affect teenagers socially
and personally.
For example, through technology, the internet can be a wonderful place for teenagers to get updated
about what's happening all around them. Because of how easy it is to get access to the internet;
misinformation can be spread quite easily. To prove this, a study was shown that misinformation about the
coronavirus was spreading throughout twitter.

be more specific. Teenagers can take advantage of technology and the internet and use it to bully
others. A report done in Canada shows that 1 in 5 young Canadians have been cyberbullied.

to cyberbully others. Moreover, teenagers can become insecure because of technology.

internet. It also allows teenagers to come across different social media platforms. Social media

time is valuable. Teenagers shouldn’t spend their whole day with their eyes glued to their
phones. Being addicted to technology can greatly affect one’s life, some of the effects include:
shorter attention spans, lack of sleep, and a decrease in learning ability.
