Wanneer welke toets?

Alle analyses in het vak zijn gebaseerd op het lineair model.
Regressie wordt gebruikt om de waarde van Y te voorspellen
of schatten met de waarde van X.
ANOVA wordt gebruikt om de gemiddelde waarden van
verschillende groepen (categorische variabele X) op de
uitkomstvariabele Y te vergelijken.




Regressie

Bij enkelvoudige regressie is er één predictor (X) en één
uitkomstvariabele. Bij meervoudige regressie zijn er meerdere
predictoren.
