Service
Unit 29 P3
, Lakeside Shopping Centre
• During my Easter holidays I had a chance to visit Lakeside Shopping Centre
and investigate its nature and new retail concepts development in order to
fulfil my consultancy duties.
• For this particular part of my work I’ve chosen to look into the following
companies to facilitate my explanations and to use as a examples: Tesco PLC
and Maplin Electronics PLC.
, Customer Service
• The Customer Service can be defined as: the process of ensuring customer
satisfaction with a product or service.
• Taking care of the customer's needs by providing and delivering professional,
helpful, high quality service and assistance before, during, and after the customer's
requirements are met can be a key to success of a business.
• The customer service is important to any organisation because it is often the only
contact a customer has with a company. And since the consumers are vital to a
business for making profit, one of the main aims of any profit-making organisation
must be providing excellent customer service, which will secure good customer
inflow and increase brand trust within a target audience.
