Analyzing a Current Healthcare Problem
A healthcare disparity refers to the complexities of illness, disability, or even death experienced by a specific group of people compared to another, as well as inequality between the groups related to access to quality healthcare. There is no single cause for healthcare disparities. The contributing factors discussed in this paper are as follows: health literacy, geographical location, and socioeconomic status as they relate to patients overall poor health.
