Een soort ‘holte’ ‘onder’ de spina scapulae → groter dan de fossa
supraspinata
Functie: spieraanhechting van de musculus infraspinatus
Fossa supraspinata
Een soort ‘holte’ ‘boven’ de spina scapulae
Functie: spieraanhechting van de musculus supraspinatus
Cartilago scapulae
Aan de dorsale zijde van de scapulae heb je een oppervlakte
vergroting van kraakbeen, dient ook als schokdemper

Caput van de humerus past hier in, een uitholling
Is zeer ondiep, dus uw caput humerus zal hier niet volledig inpassen
→ de rand van de cavitas glenoïdalis zal versterkt worden door
fibrocartolagineus weefsel (=labrum glenoïdale) → als die labrum
gelnoïdale er niet is kan die caput humeri snel luxeren
Tuberculum supraglenoïdale
Een tuberculum dat boven de cavitas glenoïdale zit, steekt altijd naar
de craniale kant
Functie: de musculus biceps brachii zal hier aanhechten
Tuber spina scapulae (Paard)
Tuber spina scapulae is een verdikking op de spina scapulae ergens in
het midden

Functie: aanhechtingspunten, musculus subscapularis

De m. biceps brachii zal over dit uitsteeksel constant wrijven (over die tuberculum
intermedius) en dus zal er een drukkussen zitten (anders ossificatie van de pees) → bursa
intertubercularis → bij paard, want bij hond hebben we geen tuberculum intermedius
a. Caudaal (linker, hond)
Fossa olecrani
Olecranon is van de ulna en deze fossa zal de ‘bek’ zijn en de processus
olecrani zal daar in passen
