Disaster Recovery Plan
Any organization, business firm, enterprise, and company must adapt or develop a disaster recovery plan. Using the DR or a disaster recovery plan assists organizations to recoup once there is an interruption to business operations, interferences with processes, loss of data, or even where the routine is affected. Natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes and even fire could cause huge losses, but any organization prepared using a DR will not suffer a lot. Moreover, the disaster recovery plan serves to identify the types of risks likely to be faced, the mitigation measures to consider, and the stages to implement the mitigation and deal with any other merging issues. Equally worth putting down to paper in the disaster recovery plan are the components such as required resources. That includes documenting the phases in disaster recovery accompanied by the tools, equipment, and relevant applications. This further works alongside the business continuity to serve the organization in carrying out audit queries, testing recovery outcomes, and maintaining the complete organizational procedures going into the future.
