,Preface
This portfolio contains all the assignments I made during crossing borders. This is an extra
module at school in preparation for my internship abroad to South Africa. during these
classes we have nine seminars. Of which four are with the class and the rest are your own
assignments that you must put in this portfolio.
This extra module takes place in my 3rd year of nursing training at Zuyd University of Applied
Sciences.
This portfolio is form y crossing borders teacher to check. And for myself as preparation for
the internship abroad.
I would like to thank my teacher for the help with the questions I had and checking this
portfolio. And my critical friends for taking the time to review my reports.

This portfolio is about my preparation for my internship in South Africa that I’m going on in
February. And the assignments from school that we must make to be well prepared to go on
an internship abroad.
I wrote this portfolio to have a good overview of all the assignments I made during crossing
borders and so it’s easy to read for me as a preparation right before I go abroad.
Centrale question of this portfolio: how you prepare yourself when you are going on an
international internship.
Goals for this portfolio are to be good prepared to go on your internship abroad. To know
more about the country, you want to go to. And to know what you all must do before you
can go abroad.
Reading guide for the portfolio: I first have all the seminars one till nine, with all the
assignments I made during crossing borders. Then the logbook with all the times I spend on
crossing borders. And as last the closing.
