What do you think dehydrated food is? - Dehydrated food is a way in which astronauts ins pace preserve their food through the process of dehydration. The food has no water or moisture, which makes the food/package lighter and easier for travel. This is a great way for astronauts to have an endless supply of food with no worries about it expiring.
