Case Study - The Junior Executive
The case scenario of the Junior Executive gives the history of present illness of a 28-year-old female with a long history of depressed mood, feelings of inferiority, and pessimism. The patient presents for treatment for the third time in her life, with complaints of “being depressed about everything”, including her job, her husband, and her future prospects. In this paper, the case scenario of the Junior Executive is analyzed, and appropriate evidence-based psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacological treatment plans are formulated based on the symptoms experienced by the Junior Executive.
