The 7 habits from this book will get you from a state of dependence, to a state of independence, and eventually to interdependence. While society most of the time states that the highest achievement would be independence, Stephen Covey says that it is interdependence that will get you the greatest results. The concept of interdependence is more advanced and mature. It states that you recognize that you are an independent being, but also that working with other people, will produce far greater results as opposed to working on your own. To accomplish this level of interdependence, you need the 7 habits from this book, which are as follows: 1. Be proactive. 2. Begin with the end in mind. 3. Put first things first. 4. Think win/win. 5. Seek to understand first, before making yourself understood. 6. Learn to synergize. 7. Sharpen the saw. In this summary I will go further into these 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and show you how to use them to become more successful in any field you want.
