Facebook is a social media site which was established for people to be able to
communicate with people from all around the world. Facebook encourages economic
activities to help economic growth in countries. Facebook is unique in that it allows you
to connect and share with the people you care about all at once.
Facebook can be used for various business purposes like marketing, job creation and
lower barrier. For example, my mother operates a business and was having trouble
finding clients to sustain it, so she turned to Facebook for help. A week later, people
saw her advertisement, and the business began to receive customers. This allowed my
mother to hire an assistant to help her run the business which helps the economy by
decreasing unemployment. Facebook has a feature known as a marketplace that allows
personal trading of goods which makes it easier to communicate with the customers.
These are some of the benefits of Facebook:
Facebook can help you find top job candidates. Posting a job opening on your
Facebook Business Page so that people who are interested in working for your
company may learn more about it.
Facebook forms professional bonds between competitors. The members of
the association, who promised not to steal each other's business, collaborate by
sharing insights and advice.
Creates brand awareness. Facebook is one of the most popular social
networks. The presence of your company can assist you in gaining exposure to
potential customers.
These are some of the disadvantages of Facebook:
Budget. Facebook advertisements can be very costly and may need a lot of
finance.
Identity Theft. Facebook needs you to share your personal details which allow
people to steal your identity.
Bullying. Some people always have negativity so they can comment badly on
your posting and make people feel bad about themselves
