,• After World War I, Germany had problems
• Many turned to the Nazi Party who
promised to solve the problems
• The Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, became the
dictator of Germany
• The Nazis solved problems and they did
great things for Germany
– However, they turned Germany into a police
state and they had no respect for human
rights
– They then tried to take control of Eastern
Europe which then lead to World War II

overthrown and he was forced to flee
